Golden Gate Labrador Retriever Rescue Inc

GGLRR is a team of 240+ volunteers across the greater San Francisco Bay area dedicated to finding new forever homes to Labrador retrievers and Lab mixes.  We pull dogs from local and central valley shelters, and we also assist people who need to rehome their dogs for every reason under the sun.  No Lab is too young for us; no Lab is too old for us. 

Every year we rescue 250-300 Labs. 

Because we are an all-volunteer organization with no offices/near-zero overhead, your donations go directly to the Labs -- covering medical care (shots, microchipping, spay/neuter, surgeries), rehabilitation with professional trainers, flea/tick/heartworm preventive, and critical supplies to our fosters.  Our wonderful team of veterinarians provide a full spectrum of medical care to these appreciative Labs, especially those that have been abandoned due to injury or significant illness.  

 It is pure joy when we are able to give these wonderful angels a second chance at a normal life in a loving home.   We win when our rescued Labs are placed in their new forever homes.  We celebrate every single dog we successfully rescue, every single dog we place with a caring family --  every single Lab.
