Havenly

The problem is often not a lack of talent. It is a lack of opportunity. 

Fatima, a graduate of Cohort 12 of Havenly's fellowship program, has experienced this firsthand. She is a Sudanese woman who spent 25 years building a career in nutrition, health, and humanitarian work. She was forced to flee Sudan due to ongoing conflict. When she arrived in the United States, her 25 years of work experience suddenly did not count for much. She struggled to find a job and begin building her new life here. 

Then, she found Havenly. 

The Havenly Fellowship is a six-month job training and educational program designed to open new doors for refugee and immigrant women. Each woman arrives with her own set of skills, experiences, and ambitions. Our role is to help create opportunities for those strengths to grow. To date, we have helped 150+ women develop their English language skills, gain work experience, and pursue their career goals. 

As Fatima says: 

“When you start again in a new country, experience alone is not always enough. You need an opportunity. You need someone to believe in you. You need a place where you can learn, grow, and regain confidence. For me, Havenly became that place.”

Today, more than 50 women have registered for Cohort 13 of Havenly's fellowship, eager for that same opportunity. We need your help to ensure that women like Fatima can continue to access job training, education, career development, and a community that believes in their potential.
