At Healing to You (HTY), we don’t just provide care—we redefine it. As a trailblazer in trauma-informed medical and mental health services, we are transforming the way survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse access support. Survivors deserve a compassionate, streamlined system that prioritizes their healing and dignity.

That’s why we’ve developed an innovative wraparound model that puts survivors first, offering comprehensive care in one safe, trusted environment.

Traditionally, survivors are forced to navigate a maze of providers, appointments, and locations. They may be transported by law enforcement to a hospital to meet an unfamiliar medical provider for a forensic exam, then speak with a victim advocate, later schedule a forensic interview, and finally be referred for medical follow-ups and therapy—all while reliving their trauma with every new person they meet. This process is overwhelming and often discourages survivors from seeking help at all.

At HTY, we’re changing this! Our pioneering model seamlessly integrates medical care, mental health support, forensic exams, and advocacy services under one roof—offering survivors a direct and compassionate path to healing. 

Here’s how we do it:

• Survivors disclose to their trusted HTY doctor or therapist, who also provide the forensic examination and victim advocacy.

• Forensic evidence is collected on-site and securely transferred to law enforcement, sparing survivors the need to visit a police station.

• Survivors and family are welcomed into a private, serene waiting area, completely separate from the general clinic lobby.

• We partner with child advocacy centers to streamline the forensic interview process, eliminating unnecessary appointments and reducing the burden on survivors.

Our Wilmington Comprehensive Community Clinic, opening early next year, will house our 24/7 Sexual Assault Response Team (SART), providing immediate care, forensic services, and advocacy for survivors whenever they need it. Combined with our one of a kind Mobile Healthcare Program, which delivers trauma-informed care directly to shelters and underserved communities, HTY is setting a new standard for survivor-centered care.

By minimizing transitions, building trust, and reducing the need for survivors to retell their story multiple times, we create an environment that fosters dignity, safety, and healing. Survivors are no longer just patients—they’re partners in their recovery, supported every step of the way by providers who truly care.
