Lack of knowledge, limited access to sanitary products, and cultural stigma can have severe consequences on the health and educational opportunities of adolescent girls. Our project, "Empower Period," seeks to address these issues by offering comprehensive menstrual hygiene education to teens in both urban and rural areas of Cameroon. The critical components of our program include:

1) Distribution of Menstrual Kits: We aim to provide menstrual kits, including sanitary pads, hygiene products, and educational materials, to underserved teens who lack access to these resources.

Community Outreach and Training: We plan to train teachers to incorporate menstrual hygiene education into the school curriculum, ensuring sustained impact.

We are requesting your support in the implementation of this project. The funds will be allocated towards workshop materials, menstrual kits, teacher training, and community outreach efforts. We believe that this initiative will have a lasting positive effect on the lives of young girls and boys, empowering them to lead healthier, more informed lives and stay in school during their menstrual cycles.
