HOW YOUR DONATION WILL HELP

We are an all-volunteer, all-foster rescue, which means 100% of your donations go to the supporting our and other animals. Your support has saved Jenny through her rare conditions, rebuilt Harley’s shattered jaw, kept Edgar fighting, and gave Jewel the chance to be a puppy, despite losing her, we still were able to give her a chance. We are able to buy supplies we urgently need such as vaccines, flea and tick/heartworm prevention, and so many other things!

You’ve even helped us help families in their darkest moments—covering medical needs and even helping them when their pets pass and getting their ashes home.

Jenny is our most Longterm Resident and will be for the rest of her beautiful days. Jenny was born with both Hydrocephalus and Cerebellar Hypoplasia (Wobbly dog), two rare conditions that mean she will always have recurring medical needs but despite it all, she is pure joy, resilience, and love. 💜 Dogs like Jenny are often overlooked, but at Leo’s  we fight for them every day, and your support gives her and so many others the chance to thrive! Jenny is incredibly special to us!

Our vision is to be a saving grace for the dogs and cats who are too often forgotten. We specialize in the injured, the disabled, the sick, and the special-needs souls who would otherwise have no chance. We welcome them with open arms, fight for their healing, and give them the love and care they should have always known!

At Leo’s Friends Rescue, we believe every life matters. Through medical care, rehabilitation, and the finding of the right forever family, we work tirelessly to transform pain into joy and hopelessness into second chances. Our dream is a world where no animal is overlooked, and every one of our babies knows what it means to be cherished! 

Edgar was found nearly lifeless, his entire face swarming with maggots but we were able to clear them up and now sweet Edgar can see!! It took an entire year for him to be healthy enough to have surgery on his eyes but he is finally available for adoption! He will have lifelong issues due to the severity of his injuries, but he is a happy, precious boy!!

Danny was found with his legs basically backwards. He is a special boy who had a rough start but now he's adopted by the most wonderful family and he is thriving and so so happy!!

Jewel. Oh Jewel. Her owner was a truck driver who let her walk in the chemicals when she was a baby... this led to seizure which he did nothing about for months. When we finally got her, they were down to ever 30 minutes. We were able to give her a happy and mostly seizure free life for almost 4 months before the seizures came back with a vengeance and there was nothing more we could do. We miss you every day sweet Jewel.
