Machiah's House Inc. is dedicated to serving young women aged 18 to 21 who have aged out of the foster care system. Our mission is to provide a nurturing and stable environment where these young women can develop the life skills necessary for self-sufficiency and success. We offer a comprehensive program that includes educational support, employment readiness, social skills training, and emotional and mental health services. Our goal is to empower these young women to overcome their past challenges and build a promising future.

Every year, approximately 20,000 young people age out of the foster care system in the United States. In North Carolina alone, hundreds of young women find themselves without a safety net once they turn 18. Without the support and guidance they need, they are at a higher risk of falling into cycles of poverty, abuse, and mental health issues.
