Momentum Park

Momentum Park, "where moms come first, and every moment matters." We are a non-profit startup organization dedicated to optimizing the health, lives, and well-being of moms and babies by integrating medicine, public health, and the latest technology. We meet moms exactly where they are,  in their communities or directly on their cell phones.

Our mission is to advance equity in pregnancy and birth outcomes by unapologetically focusing on Black mothers, who are 3 to 5 times more likely to die from pregnancy complications than their counterparts. Through our signature program, SHERO (Shaping Healthy Equitable Reproductive Outcomes), we leverage a powerful SISTERHOOD model composed of perinatal health workers, doulas, and physicians. Together, we empower and uplift expectant mothers through every stage of their pregnancy, providing the critical support and resources they need not just to survive, but to thrive.

Our signature program, SHERO, provides personalized prenatal, postpartum, and social support to Black expectant mothers. We use technology to meet moms exactly where they are (on their cell phones) to offer prenatal and social support throughout and beyond pregnancy. 

Our SHERO moms receive support through our SHERO Sisterhood on social media, free access to the Birth By Us app for accurate prenatal and postpartum education, SHERO Mommy & Baby kits and virtual and in-person mommy events. 

At Momentum Park/SHERO, we believe it takes a village to raise a child, and a Sisterhood to support the mother bringing children into the world. Together, we work to ensure our moms are healthy, happy and thriving to grow healthy, happy and thriving babies.
