Vision: Educate. Empower. Develop.

Moseka exists to provide life-changing education to victimized women and their children in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) by offering transformational support and developmental projects through the love of Jesus Christ.

We currently accomplish this mission through three main programs.

Educate - The Dream Come True Program provides full scholarships, afterschool help and meals to victimized and vulnerable children in the Democratic Republic of Congo. These children would not be able to attend school without scholarship, but Moseka's support provides so much more. Students within this program perform far better than students without afterschool support and meals. We recognize children need to be healthy and fed in order to succeed in school.

At Dream Come True, students are encouraged to follow their dreams and given the daily support and encouragement every child needs to succeed. Each scholarship is changing someone's life. Moseka shares each student's hope for her future.

Empower - The Family Empowerment Program supports survivors of gender-based violence with the goal of independence. Through FEP, victimized women receive training in business literacy, health, democracy, leadership and conflict resolution. Each woman is allocated a one-time grant to help her achieve her business, budgeting and financial goals to maintain a business and household independently.

Students are not alone in this process of overcoming poverty and stigma, but are joined by a solidarity group. Our hope is for the community to no longer see survivors as blemished by violence or poverty, but as women who contribute to the economic development of their village and the stability of their families.

Develop - The Fearfully & Wonderfully Made Program provides tangible support to communities of people with albinism. People with albinism in Africa are ostracized by prejudice and threatened with violence because of the difference in their skin pigmentation. Extreme levels of poverty make shelter and sun protection scarce. Work in most local industries is hazardous without protection from the sun, contributing to unemployment.

Moseka supports people with Albinism through our scholarships and partnerships. Past support has included sunscreen drives, school supplies and small business grants.

Your support will provide life-changing education to victimized and vulnerable women and children in the DRC.
