My Buddy Bench Project Foundation Inc

We aim to encourage communities to collaborate in creating a kinder future for our children by adopting and installing “Buddy Benches” in elementary schools and public spaces.

A Buddy Bench is a designated seat in schools or public spaces where children can sit if they need a friend by their side. It stands out, promotes awareness, and prevents bullying.

Children who want a friend to play or talk with can sit on the Buddy Bench. Kindness Ambassadors and other children are encouraged to invite them to join activities. Repeated use of the bench signals the need for support, prompting school staff to provide assistance.

About the My Buddy Bench Project Program

The MBBP Program provides schools with tools that go far beyond the bench itself. Each new Buddy Bench installation includes:

🌟 Enrichment Activities: Fun & Educational kindness activities that you can download from our website to engage your community.

🌟 Mental Health Resources: Mental Health Research and access to Mental Health Professionals who are Partnered with us.

🌟 Digital Posters and Printables: Large posters to promote the initiative within your school or community.

🌟 Digital Marketing Assets: We provide your school with digital creatives for your website and social media platforms like Facebook & Instagram.

🌟 Volunteering  Opportunities: We feature organizations that offer volunteer opportunities for youth, kids, and families to make a positive impact in their local communities.

Our program inspires students to learn critical life skills — respect, inclusion, emotional intelligence, and kindness — while giving them tangible ways to put those lessons into action in their own school communities. Every Buddy Bench becomes a symbol of belonging, but even more importantly, a catalyst for meaningful behavioral and cultural change.

$50 - Provides supplies for Kindness Ambassador enrichment activities.

$100 - Supports mental health awareness initiatives.

$250 - Helps fund a Buddy Bench customization.

$500+ - Becomes a Friend of Kindness. Supports large-scale community MBBP workshops.

$1,000+ - Becomes a Supporter of Compassion to help sustain MBBP’s mission!
