💛 Help Us Feed Hungry Families—We Can’t Do It Without You

On January 18, 2025, our food pantry was devastated by a two-alarm fire. In a matter of hours, everything we had built was gone. But we didn’t stop. Just one week later, we were back on our feet—distributing food from the Town of Prosper’s parking lot. Since then, we’ve been operating out of a temporary trailer, doing everything we can to keep our mission alive.

What we didn’t expect was the ripple effect: fewer volunteers, fewer donations, and the same number of families—if not more—still relying on us. The bills didn’t stop. And neither did the hunger.

I want you to know: food insecurity is real right here in Collin, East Denton, and South Grayson counties. We serve hardworking adults, seniors on fixed incomes, and far too many children—1 in 5—who go to bed hungry. At Neighbors Nourishing Neighbors, we believe in preserving life, not lifestyle. When we help families eat, we do more than fill stomachs—we restore dignity, hope, and unity.

Because let’s be honest: you can’t live a full life on an empty stomach.

🛠️ What We Need—and How You Can Help

We rely on donated food and financial gifts to serve our neighbors. About 40% of our food comes from the North Texas Food Bank. The rest is generously provided by retail partners like HEB, Kroger, Walmart, Target, Whole Foods, Chick-fil-A, Olive Garden, and many others—as well as churches, schools, food drives, and individuals like you.

Now, we’re preparing to move into a larger facility—one that will allow us to serve more families than ever before. It’s a big step forward, and we’re excited. But we can’t do it alone.
