Nepal Rising (Daayitwa US) is a global collaborative campaign organized for providing relief, rebuilding, and resilience of communities in need in Nepal and elsewhere. Formed in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake on April 25, 2015, we seek to sustain the movement to empower Nepali communities to bounce back from adversities. Through local and global partnerships, this campaign provides a common platform to share ideas, raise funds, and coordinate volunteers towards a common purpose of building resilient communities in Nepal.
Nepal Rising is a volunteer-run campaign administered by Daayitwa US, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in the United States (EIN: 82-4990055).
Operating in a collaborative federated model, we have chapters in Seattle, Austin, Global and previously active in New York, Colorado, Washington DC, Boston and Chicago.We believe in and practice total transparency of funds, both raised and disbursed.
