New Birth Outreach Center, Inc

A nonprofit organization

At the age of 17, Pastor Waymon was addicted to
alcohol, meth and pain pills. He was homeless living on a school bus when on
September 13, 1998 he went to His Place at Harvest Evangelism. He completed the
program in January 1 2001."God delivered me and gave me a heart for others that
struggled with the same problems.”
He started the ministry called
New Birth Outreach Ministries after having been ordained at Central Alabama
Bible College.

New Birth Outreach started 2002
during a street ministry outreach. The Home was opened January 1, 2005 in
Opelika. We moved to Valley AL in July 2005. It is a non-profit Organization
Christian Ministry for men, where we teach Jesus as the only way lives can be changed.
The program is a 12 month commitment. The men take
part in various Bible based classes and keep to a strict routine to help them
to find structure in life. At present we
have 23 beds at our facilities for our residents as well a 10 bed transition
home facility in Opelika, AL. We also have just launched an outreach home for
women as well that could accommodate 15-20 ladies. We have partnership with
several local churches in our area and have elected several board members to
oversee projects. Our board members are: Dr. William Whatley, Elder James Milner, Evangelist Barbara Milner, Pastor Waymon Johnson and Pastor Arnita Johnson.

We are looking to expand at the moment with another building being built on the
property. This new facility will allow us to facilitate approx. 40 more men.
