Norfolk CASA's mission is to support and promote court-appointed volunteer advocacy so that every child can be safe from harm, establish permanency, and have the opportunity to thrive.
Since 1986, Norfolk CASA has advocated for thousands of abused and neglected children. As the eyes and ears of the judge, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) show up in a child's life to let them know they know they are not alone as they traverse the often scary paths of foster care.
These volunteer advocates make and maintain connections to their appointed CASA child while also investigating their case and submitting unbiased, third-party facts to the judge.
