Operation Vet Rescue is dedicated to providing support, resources, and a path to healing for veterans in crisis. Our mission is to locate, assist, and guide veterans facing homelessness, mental health challenges, and isolation, ensuring they receive the care and respect they deserve. Through compassionate outreach, community partnerships, and tailored services, we aim to restore hope, stability, and dignity to those who have served our country.
We focus on making the maximum positive effort. Our members and volunteers provide the momentum that helps us do good work. Using community driven models, we take actions that make a long-lasting difference.
The Crisis
- Over 37,000 veterans experience homelessness on any given night in the United States (National Collation for homeless Veterans)
- Veterans are disproportionately affected by mental health issues, including PTSD, which contribute to homelessness
