For over 28 years, Project by Project (PbP) has worked to develop the next generation of Asian American leaders through volunteering, pro bono consulting, fundraising, and community advocacy. We are a 100% volunteer-run 501(c)3 nonprofit, with chapters serving the Asian, Pacific Islander communities of New York City, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. Each year, PbP selects a new campaign to educate our volunteers about and provide awareness in the greater community. We've helped fundraise and raise awareness for a wide variety of social causes that have continued to impact our community - from housing, homelessness, immigration, domestic violence, health care, voter engagement, mental health, education access, to food insecurity.

This year, we are highlighting Communities in Action

1. Belonging: Fostering environments where individuals and families, regardless of their identity statuses, feel welcomed, supported, and equipped to build stability and connection. Through education and service partnerships, we affirm that thriving communities begin with trust, access, and opportunity.

2. Community Leadership: Cultivating and strengthening pathways for the next generation of AAPI leaders to help shape and serve their communities through informed civic engagement.

By focusing on these priorities, we aim to strengthen grassroots CBOs' capacity to directly assist individuals and families in need. We invite our supporters to champion these organizations and join Project by Project in building resilient communities in action.
