$7,500 Goal

Our mission is to grow the community through jazz learning and performances, driven by mentorship and scholarship.  Our performance workshops are carefully designed to include young students and adults, and thanks to your previous  donations, we already funded 2 full tuition scholarships to high school students from Forest Hills High School.  After mentoring and rehearsal sessions, these students plus the faculty of the Queens School of Jazz will be performing in concert on December 13, 2025, celebrating Frank Sinatra's birthday and the Great American Songbook at Flushing Town Hall, Queens, NY.   Your $25 donation will purchase a concert seat for a community member in financial need AND help fund scholarships for talented high school and middle school students in Queens.

Our fundraising goal is $7,500 by year's end so that we can give more scholarships for 6 identified students at Frank Sinatra High School for the Performing Arts, Townsend Harris High School, and Louis Armstrong Middle School.  Helping us reach that amount will bring us closer to our annual operating budget of $175,000, which has not been met.  To that end, your donations will  be used to support the jazz learning, mentoring, and performing activities of 144 students annually by enabling the faculty to lead 2 big band performance workshops and 2 jazz combo workshops in a safe and encouraging environment. Money is also needed to provide master classes that are essential to jazz learning.

Help us make our vision complete by supporting accessible and affordable jazz learning for all in Queens, NY!
