Where Miracles Happen

The Ranch started as a dream of hockey teammates who shared a love for the game — and faced the same silent struggles. Mark Pavelich, a member of the 1980 Olympic Miracle on Ice team and NY Rangers, helped inspire the vision that became reality with the help of fellow former NHL alumni Clint Malarchuk, Barry Beck, TJ Gorence, and others.

Our Mission

To offer a healthy, therapeutic, and supportive environment for those affected by mental illness and brain disorders. To provide a future of optimism, freedom from barriers, and the opportunity to live full, independent lives, with new beginnings.

Our  Most Important Program

Housing without Timelines. 

We believe our most important (and costliest) program is housing. We provide the physical environment for the healing to happen. We currently provide 16 individual rooms at our facility in Sauk Centre, MN. Our housing comes warmth, safety, stabilization, routines, peer support, discipline, and no timeline. We want you to heal and we want you to leave with the confidence that Miracles Do Happen, and Blessings Still Exist.

Our Facility

Our facility is located on 124 acres and shares the same campus as the Eagle's Healing Nest, another non-profit with the same missions serving Veteran's and their families. Our partner programs and resources include Mental Health Counseling, Peer Recovery Support Programs (AA, NA, Smart Recovery, AVP, WRAP, and more), intensive outpatient treatment services for substance abuse, Mental Health Retreats and Outings, Health & Wellness, Art Therapy, and others that vary as the resident population interest do.
