Protect Park City’s Wild Heart
Together, we can ensure safe passage for the moose, elk, and deer that define Park City’s wild beauty — and protect the people who share the road with them.
Traffic along SR-224, the gateway to Park City, continues to rise ahead of the 2034 Winter Olympics. With your support, Save People Save Wildlife and Rock Design Associates are working with state and local partners to implement wildlife connectivity solutions that reduce collisions and save lives.
Park City takes pride in local wildlife and highlights that appreciation is so many ways already, from art on local transit, to statues, and wildlife photography.
Now it’s time to turn that pride into lasting protection.
The Parleys Wildlife Overpass proved what’s possible and is working beautifully! Let’s build on that success.
In addition to providing safe passage and connectivity for our wildlife,
"...the Parleys Wildlife Overpass has paid for itself, with a Utah State University study estimating a $15 million cost benefit over its lifetime. The bridge, which cost about $5 million to build, has drastically reduced wildlife-vehicle collisions, saving taxpayer money on human injuries, fatalities, and property damage..."
Your gift helps make safe passage a reality — for wildlife and for people.
