Smitten With Kittens was grateful to participate in #GivingTuesday on November 28, 2023. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and we almost reached our goal. Kitten season starts earlier every year and our fosters took in more neonates than last year.

Our food donations have also been way down; formula is very costly and our fosters are watching their little ones longer than in past years. Our organization provides the best medical care for the rescued kittens. The veterinarian bills add up quickly not only for special cases, but remember we spay or neuter, vaccinate, and microchip each one before heading to a forever home. 

Where does your donation go?

• Every kitten is spayed or neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV, and microchipped
• De-worming medication and vaccines
• Revolution for fleas
• Kitten formula
• Canned and dry food specifically for kittens
• Other expenses include: medicines, probiotics, syringes, litter pans, cages, bottles, baby blankets, pee pads, vet bills, miscellaneous administrative fees such as IRS filing, liability insurance to show kittens at Petco, annual corporate filing, and website hosting

We solely rely on the community's contributions and our adoption donations to cover our expenses.
