South Carolina Black Pride Inc

South Carolina Black Pride is the longest-serving LGBTQ+ organization in South Carolina focused on empowering and celebrating LGBTQ+ communities of color. We create safe, affirming spaces through events like Black Pride Week, Pride In The Park, The Rainbow Gala, and the Cultural Arts & Wellness Festival. We host year-round programs, including community mixers, educational forums, health fairs, and HIV/STI prevention and testing services. Every event is designed to uplift, educate, and connect our community across the state.

Our mission is rooted in the Six Pillars of Pride: Community Involvement, Young Adults, Health & Wellness, LGBTQ Unity, Social Justice/Political Foundation, and Education. Through these core values, SC Black Pride works to address health disparities, promote human rights, and inspire leadership within the Black LGBTQ+ community.
