St Augustine Rainbow Camp

Augustine Rainbow Camp was founded in 1973 to serve Deaf children and later expanded to welcome siblings of all abilities, so children with differing needs could experience the joys of summer camp together. For 51 years and counting, we have remained faithful to that mission, welcoming children of all abilities and backgrounds, including those from the Tremont neighborhood and Greater Cleveland, children of St. Augustine Parish, the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community, and children with mild to moderate disabilities, ages 5 to 13.

Rooted in our Catholic mission of love and service, Augustine Rainbow Camp provides a safe, positive, and fun-filled environment where every child can grow, play, build friendships, and feel celebrated as a gift from God. We believe every child deserves access to meaningful summer experiences regardless of ability, nationality, race, religion, or financial circumstance.

To ensure this experience remains accessible, we are committed to keeping camp affordable and offering scholarships to families in financial need. Over 70% of our campers come from households earning less than $50,000 annually. Yet the cost of operating our full five-week program continues to rise.
