How We Serve God

The congregation at St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Evanston believes that every person has God-given gifts. At St. Paul's we invite you to worship with us and we welcome your participation and your gifts. At the very core of our congregation, our strongest belief is that grace is a gift that leads us to have faith in God, faith in one another, and support each other as we learn more about who we are as Christians.

We believe our search for meaning in life goes hand in hand with a purposeful life. At St. Paul's, we believe that our work, worship, and prayers together allow the living Christ to meet us where we are and transform our lives. Come join us as we discover ways to publicly share and live our gifts through God's Living Word.

How We Serve Our Neighbors

We offer many ways to serve the hungry, homeless, and hurting.  We coordinate a free Sunday afternoon meal year round in collaboration with volunteer serving groups and Interfaith Action of Evanston.  We also offer shelter from the cold on wintry Monday afternoons and provide one of the Winter Emergency Overnight Shelters in Evanston.  Thank you for supporting our work serving our neighbor!
