Every day at Steele Memorial, your generosity helps write new stories of healing and hope. On behalf of the Steele Memorial Foundation, I want to express my deepest gratitude for your continued support. Every contribution—no matter the size—has a direct and meaningful impact on healthcare in our community. 

Because of you, the 2024–2025 Annual Giving Campaign raised $102,581.42, providing Steele Memorial Medical Center with vital diagnostic equipment — a DEXA scanner, retina scanner, and tonometer (Tono-Pen) — and awarding $9,000 in scholarships to local students pursuing careers in healthcare. Each of these investments directly improves patient care in Lemhi and Custer Counties. 

Each dollar entrusted to the Foundation is carefully directed toward projects that strengthen Steele Memorial Medical Center and improve access to high-quality, compassionate care—right here in Lemhi and Custer Counties. Our commitment is to invest wisely, transparently, and with one goal in mind: building a stronger future for rural healthcare. 

As we look to the year ahead, we invite you to join us in our next transformative effort—purchasing a new MRI machine that will bring advanced diagnostic technology to our rural region. This upgrade will provide faster, more accurate diagnoses, reduce travel and wait times for patients, and ensure that families, friends, and neighbors continue to receive world-class care—right here in Salmon.
