Take Me Home Pet Rescue

Take Me Home Pet Rescue is a group of volunteers who care about the welfare of our homeless dogs and cats. We are located in Richardson, Texas and survive solely from donations and fundraisers (after fundraiser…after fundraiser!).

Although we have an Adoption Center, all of our rescued animals live in foster homes so that they can experience the love and care of a family while awaiting for their very own forever homes. Since they live within the dynamics of the foster families and are exposed to children of all ages and other pets, we find that that our foster cats and dogs are more adoptable as they have already been socialized to live in a family environment.

Thanks to the generous support of our donors, we've been able to rescue almost over 3,000 cats and dogs from local shelters and other unfortunate situations. Nearly all of them have been placed in loving forever homes, while the others are currently awaiting their perfect matches. 

Your support helps us:

• provide excellent veterinary care for all of our rescued animals;
• spay/neuter, microchip and vaccinate all of the animals in our care;
• provide our foster network with food, bedding, necessary medications, and other necessities for their foster pets;
• maintain our small adoption center which allows one on one meetings with potential adopters and animals.

Take Me Home Pet Rescue is run by a volunteer staff and managed by a committed, working board of directors, all of whom are passionate about animal welfare and rescue.
