We need your help to raise funds to help produce the 7th annual Austin Veteran Arts Festival (AVAFEST) scheduled to start on October 17, 2025 with the AVAFEST VETERANS/MILITARY FILM FESTIVAL. If you're a veteran and a filmmaker, submit your project at https://www.avafest.org/the-avafest-veteran/military-film-festival. AVAFEST is sponsored by the Veteran Suicide Prevention Channel (VSPChannel), Broadcasting Wellness and Entertainment to Veterans 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. AVAFEST's motto is "USING THE ARTS TO HELP HEAL VETERANS."  The VSPChannel was founded as a nonprofit organization on January 16, 2015. The VSPChannel  was founded primarily to bring therapy and entertainment to veterans on any device that is capable of accessing the internet. AVAFEST was originally created as an outreach program that has over the years grown into a month-long series of events that include wellness seminars, shows, concerts, dance, poetry readings, art exhibits and other activities, such as Disk Golf and other tournament activities. These AVAFEST events are designed to engage veterans and their family members to participate in the arts. The VSPChannel broadcasts the Veterans' Arts and Wellness Network on the ROKU television channel that can be accessed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

AVAFEST is a volunteer organization that needs your support this year to ensure the 7th Annual AVAFEST events happen.  AVAFEST 2025 starts on October 17, and will end on November 11, 2025. Will you help us to make the 7th annual AVAFEST a total an complete success?

We hope so!
