Wild Isle Outrigger Canoe Club

The only Outrigger Canoe Club in Southern New Jersey, Wild Isle Outrigger's mission is to widen the access and enjoyment of the ocean and bayside waters of the Wildwood Island and connect youth and adults to the aquatic environment through the ancient sport of paddling outrigger canoes. Wild Isle Outrigger fosters teamwork, leadership and stewardship, developing Youth, Open and Masters paddling programs.

We teach that along with access to the ocean, also comes responsibility. Our "Kuleana" (Hawaiian for responsibility) is to care for the ocean so that in return the ocean cares for us. It's a privilege and an honor to provide this care in hopes that our actions are followed by others so that future generations have the same passion for the ocean that we do. In this pursuit, each day the club ensures to leave the beaches and waterways better than we found them.
