WCA

For over 110 years, WCA has been at the forefront of providing services to those healing from domestic abuse and sexual assault. Since its founding, WCA’s  program has evolved into one of the most vital, unduplicated, comprehensive programs in our community and region. WCA is proud to be a community leader in providing these critically needed services.  Our services have been an essential part of Idaho’s community and need to be able to keep growing for years to come. Past, present and future survivors deserve resources, education and a chance at a life free of domestic abuse and sexual assault.

The WCA's Mission is safety, healing and freedom from domestic abuse and sexual assault. Our vision is to foster a community where individuals thrive in safe, healthy relationships.

Last year WCA provided:

364 women and 341 children took advantage of our shelter services, for a total of 9,583 safe bed nights.

• 2,823 counseling sessions were attended by 322  new adult and child clients.
• 4,479 calls were answered on the 24-hour crisis hotline (an average of 373 per month).
• WCA court advocates assisted with 1,869 protection order filings in Ada County.

All of our services are provided at no cost to our clients, thanks to the generosity of our supporters.
