Young Heroes Foundation

Over the past 19 years, Young Heroes initiatives have supported over 80,000 orphans and vulnerable children with food, clothing, education, medical care, and vocational training. 

We’ve been recognized as a Top Rated Non-Profit time and again for our transparency and sustainable initiatives. We continue to be the leading organization in Eswatini (formerly Swaziland) devoted to meeting the holistic needs of children and adolescents living with and affected by HIV/AIDS, COVID-19, disabilities, and Gender-Based Violence.

Due to COVID-19 and civil unrest, are many immediate needs that reach beyond Heroes' current programs. These range from.  In these difficult times, Young Heroes is determined to see that these deserving kids continue to get the assistance they need.

Reached 36,172 Orphans & Vulnerable Children (OVC)

•    3,417 received birth registration

•    13,509 households enrolled in YH programming

•    3,503 households graduated from YH support

Reached 45,766 Adolescent Girls & Young Women (AGYW)

•    550 provided with technical and vocational education and training skills

•    11,949 completed entrepreneurship & employability ES curricula

•    3,615 participated in savings & loans groups

•    10,455 developed business plans to obtain external funding

•    131 received business start-up kits

•    154 linked with employment

•    22 placed in internships

28 of our Neighborhood Care Points planted their own gardens for self-sufficiency 

83 children with disabilities across 26 Inkhuldla (counties) received services to make school more accessible
