Colla Voce of the Sierra

Colla Voce of the Sierra was created in 2005 by Artistic Director and Conductor Janine Dexter with a simple mission of creating life-changing opportunities for engagement in the arts. The Colla Voce Chamber Singers present concert experiences twice a year with additional appearances at local fundraising events. The organization incorporated in 2008 and became a 501(c)(3) non-profit the same year. The vision has expanded from providing excellent choral performances to creating engaging art experiences for people of all ages. Audiences are growing, reviews of the concerts are positive and enthusiastic, and 1,000 children are receiving a music appreciation curriculum through the music docent program.
