Earth Gives

Earth Gives was created with a simple but urgent idea: make it easier for people to support the organizations working every day to protect our lives, our communities, and the places we love.

Here in Arizona, that urgency isn’t abstract. We’re heading into an unprecedented time of record-breaking heat. We’re about to see the realities of a shrinking Colorado River and our water allocation. Affordability issues crash right into climate change through rising energy bills, food costs, and our health impacted by extreme heat and pollution.

And yet—we also live in a place of incredible possibility on climate. It’s literally one of our 5 C’s.

Earth Gives exists to inspire more people to take action with and through environmental nonprofits—here in Arizona and across the country.

We host the only single-issue nationwide giving initiative and are adding features on the platform that will serve as a clearinghouse that helps everyday people:

• Discover and support trusted environmental and climate nonprofits
 • Learn from those on the front lines of the issues and advancing the solutions
 • Volunteer and take meaningful action – at home, work, school and beyond
 • Connect with curated resources that help us care more for one another and this one place we call home 

To tackle issues like the urban heat island, the die-off of pollinators and wildlife, the loss of quality soil to overfarming, we need to rally you to help us inspire more than just 2% of all philanthropy for environmental and climate efforts.

Arizona can be the inspiration for a nationwide eco movement.

Earth Gives isn’t about “saving the planet.”
 It’s about saving us and the futures we seek for our families.

 • Preserving the places we love to hike, gather, and make memories

Our return on investment is deeply personal.

It’s a walk at sunset when evenings cool down. 
Protected canyons like the one we call Grand.
A meal on your favorite restaurant patio that’s still open until summer comes.
A future where your kids can still go to soccer practice without overwhelming impact of heat.

This work can’t be done by one organization—or even one state—alone.

It takes all of us.
