Oakland Pride Inc

Since 2010 Oakland Pride has been an influential coalition dedicated to educating the greater Bay Area and promoting equality, social justice, civic involvement, and responsibility within Oakland and neighboring communities.  Oakland Pride is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

Oakland Pride is dedicated to celebrating the cultures and diversity of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ+) community in the East Bay, to educate the greater Bay Area promoting equality, social justice, civic involvement, and responsibility with Oakland and neighboring communities.

Oakland Pride is an all-volunteer board dedicated to providing visibility for the greater LGBTQ+ community with an emphasis on Oakland and the East Bay.  We produce the Oakland Pride Parade & Celebration annually on the second Sunday in September.  The parade and festival attract over 6,000 attendees for a day that includes a parade down Broadway, three stages of live entertainment, a health pavilion featuring free screenings and vaccines, family entertainment area, artisan vendors, food booths and beverage bars.

Our organization's supporters include:  Oakland LGBTQ Center, Amazon Music, Kaiser Permanente, Alameda County Health Care Services Agency, Pacific Gas & Electric, Xfinity, Blue Sheild California, Port of Oakland, Workday, Bayer, Pixar, Bacardi, Red Bull and many others.

Oakland Pride is a beacon to celebrate living life to the fullest and give hope to those who seek a community of belonging.
