Mission

Women of Wisdom empowers the feminine dreams and spirits within all of us through authentic, intimate, transformative, and healing experiences where we share our stories, acknowledge our wisdom and transform our personal and collective consciousness. WOW is here to nurture a renaissance and a revival of the spirit of women — the deeper, wilder spirit rooted in courage, creativity, and care for all life. 

This year we are raising funds to support teens and young women with scholarships to attend our in person (new!) experiential workshops, what women have loved about WOW for over 30 years, which will change their lives and enrich yours! 

WOW can be part of this movement to kindle this spark within our young women. It’s time.  Our youth need us to show up for them now in these challenging times.

The mental, emotional, and spiritual burden on young people is staggering -  look at these statistics: 

• Suicide is the leading cause of death for youth in the US. While 1 in 3 teenage girls in the U.S. seriously considered suicide in the last year, with women attempting suicide 4 x as often young men, men are 4 x as likely to die by suicide. 
• 44% of teens report persistent feelings of sadness or hopelessness.
• 70% of young adults say anxiety and depression are the defining challenge of their generation.
• Loneliness is now higher among 18–24 year olds than any other age group.
• Climate grief affects nearly 75% of youth worldwide, many reporting fear, anger, or numbness about the future.

These are not random symptoms. They are the soul of a generation crying out for connection, belonging, purpose, and pathways into adulthood that honor their gifts.

 WOW has done this for years in our experiential workshops and conferences that has empowered women for over 30 years, and it’s time now for us to bring this to the younger generation - it’s the hope for the future.

Since 1993, WOW has offered many diverse programs and an annual conference uniting all women through the unique expressions of the feminine spirit. 

• WOW operates through Co-Creative Circles.

• WOW honors the unique gifts and voices of all women.

• WOW witnesses women’s healing through sharing stories.

• WOW’s programs create positive changes to women’s lives and their communities.

• WOW has changed the lives of thousands of women over many years.

• WOW Meetups are available for women to gather, learn and share on diverse topics.

• WOW envisions new programs to continue our legacy and grow throughout the year, blossoming our community to be dynamic and diverse for all ages.
