Recovery Rebound - Renewed Hope for Red Wolves

"We brought them back once. We can do it again." 

The Red Wolf Coalition takes the words of Red Wolf Recovery Program Manager Joe Madison to heart. This means doubling down on the science-based management strategies that are directly supported with funds from the Red Wolf Coalition and on building public support for Red Wolves. 

Every dollar makes a difference. Your gifts make the following possible:

• Direct support for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Red Wolf Recovery Program: (1) We pay for all coyote sterilizations. (2) We maintain the Red Wolf Coalition Red Wolf Depredation Program to reimburse local landowners for verified Red Wolf death or injury to livestock. (3) We pay for veterinary care for any sick or injured wild red wolf transported to the NC State University College of Veterinary Medicine for care. (4) We provide mini-grants to the Red Wolf SAFE Program zoos and nature centers. 
• Education and information programs for school and community groups. We also send Discovery Boxes with educational materials and artifacts to formal and non-formal educators, and we provide the K-12 curriculum "Far Traveler" free of charge (downloadable on our website at www.redwolves.com). The Coalition sponsors annual college scholarships for local high school graduates.
• Collaborative projects with other conservation organizations. 
• Support for scientific research.

The Red Wolf Coalition depends entirely on private support. We receive no money from any government entities.
