Each year, Camp Starlight provides a one-of-a-kind summer camp experience for 50 children affected by HIV/AIDS and the stigma against the LGBTQIA+ community.
It’s a weeklong summer camp experience with all the usual activities — swimming, singing by the campfire, making arts & crafts — and without the burden of stigma and judgment that our campers may face the rest of the year. It is a joyful place where kids can be themselves.
Camp Starlight was established in 1999, is volunteer-run, and is a 501(c)3 nonprofit. Camp is free for children to attend. Learn more at camp-starlight.org.
