School #58

For over two decades, Direct Aid International (DAI) has partnered with rural Afghan communities to build schools, plant fruit and nut tree nurseries, create local jobs, and bring education and nourishment where few other opportunities exist. Together, we’ve built more than 50 schools and changed thousands of lives along the way.

This Giving Tuesday, we’re asking for your help to build School #58, a six-room stone and cement school for children who currently learn outdoors, without shelter from heat or snow. 

The photo above shows Jalmish, home of our 55th school, where students now study in a safe, bright classroom thanks to the generosity of people like you. Each contribution brings us closer to making that same transformation possible for another village.
