The Puppies Don’t Stand A Chance Without Help

Twenty four tiny puppies entered the world within just 12 hours of each other, born to two unspayed moms who shared the same dad. One brave mother gave birth to 16 puppies. The other welcomed 8. Against the odds, loving homes have already been found for 18 of them, but these five precious babies are still waiting, and time is running out. At just five weeks old, they have done nothing to deserve an uncertain future. The overcrowded West Virginia shelter that took them in is beyond full and desperately needs these puppies to leave as soon as possible. Homeward Trails is stepping in to save them and is also helping ensure both moms are spayed so this heartbreaking cycle doesn’t happen again. But rescuing this family is a huge undertaking. Every puppy needs veterinary care, vaccinations, food, transport, and supplies before they can begin the lives they deserve.
