For 40 years, NEARI School has helped students find their strengths, build relationships, and experience success when school has been difficult.

At our therapeutic day school in Easthampton Massachusetts, education and mental health supports come together. Students have opportunities to rebuild confidence, develop skills and discover that they belong.

As we celebrate our 40th anniversary, we’re looking ahead. The Next 40 Years at NEARI is a campaign to strengthen the spaces, resources and programs that will serve our students for years to come.

Our Next Chapter Starts Outdoors

One of our dreams would be a new outdoor pavilion* between our playground and garden.

We envision a covered, open-air space where a class can take its lesson outside, students can work on a project together, a therapeutic group can gather and our school community can connect. It will give students another place to learn and participate, with room to move, fresh air and shelter from the sun.

For students who benefit from different ways of learning and engaging, a space like this creates more possibilities throughout the school day.

Tuition supports the education and therapeutic services our students receive each day. Philanthropic support helps us invest in campus improvements, enrichment and new opportunities beyond our regular operating budget.
