50 for 50: Support Low-Income Students, Scale SStS

The Big Picture

Students Shoulder-to-Shoulder has recently partnered with two innovative education organizations, which are working to make experiential learning opportunities accessible to teenagers from all backgrounds.

The goal of the 50 for 50 Campaign is to raise $50,000 to support 50 low-income students enrolling in our summer field studies in ethical leadership. 

All donations to the 50 for 50 Campaign will go directly to 50 high-quality students from low-income families from three urban centers: New York City, Philadelphia, and Seattle.

Why It Matters

Integrating students by socioeconomic background while maintaining high admission standards for curiosity and character remarkably raises the quality of field studies. Diverse perspectives enrich the meaning - rewards and complexity - of ethical leadership.

Your donation ensures that students from economic, educational, ethnic, and social backgrounds have equal access to the benefits and opportunities of travel, cultural immersion, and leadership training- all aspects of the Shoulder-to-Shoulder Field Study experience.
