Empower AWCA, Bridge 1-2-3 gen | #GiveInMay

The Asian Women’s Christian Association, Inc. (AWCA) is a nonprofit social service agency located in Teaneck, NJ. Since its establishment in 1980, AWCA has been faithfully providing service to our diverse neighbors across faith, ethnicity, and culture for more than four decades according to our mission statement:

AWCA, centered on the love of Christ, provides families with the resources to become healthy, contributing members of society through education, social, and homecare services.

The team at the AWCA consists of board members, staff, and volunteers, who are dedicated to serving the community with the love of Christ. This mission is made possible by the donations and contributions of the sponsors and donors who believe in and support our mission. 

AWCA is a proud AAPI partner organization. With your donations, we are able to serve and support our Asian American community, senior members, single parent families, and other community members in need with our services and programs.

Through this #GiveInMay campaign, we aim to provide a helping hand to bridge the gap between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gen Asian American community members.

AWCA AIMS TO BRIDGE THE INTERGENERATIONAL GAP

AWCA recognizes the increase in intergenerational conflicts within Asian American communities. AWCA promotes student-led intergenerational community projects and 1-2-3 gen mentorship/network.  As indicated in our mission statement: we desire to elevate the young generation so that they become healthy, contributing members of society through our programs and services.
