The Humble Hustle Company Calls on the Community to “Keep Giving” — 10th Annual Coat Drive Supporting Preston Park Elementary Students

As temperatures drop, The Humble Hustle Company, Inc. is calling on the Roanoke community to help keep local youth warm this season through its 10th Annual Keep Giving Coat Drive, benefiting students at Preston Park Elementary School.

This year marks a decade of the organization’s Keep Giving Initiatives and Programs. Over the last ten years, The Humble Hustle Company has hosted two community-wide drives and partnered with a school for eight years to ensure no child has to go through the winter season without a coat.

In honor of its 10-year anniversary, The Humble Hustle Company has set a goal of collecting 195 brand-new coats, matching the needs of students at Preston Park Elementary. Last year, the organization surpassed its goal of 160 coats and had enough left over to serve additional children in the community.

“The coat drive is about so much more than getting kids new coats,” said Ashley Huff, Education Chair of The Humble Hustle Company Board. “It’s planting a seed. We want them to know the community cares about them. And it is my hope, that as they move forward in their lives, that kindness and compassion will resonate with them and make them want to continue to give back to their community as they get older”.

The Humble Hustle Company has been on a mission to uplift, inspire, and transform the lives of youth in Roanoke and surrounding communities. Through impactful programs like Pretty Humble, Humble Hikes, and Fuel Your Future, they’ve empowered over 1,600 young people, with 145 new participants joining in 2024 alone.

Now, as the organization prepares to celebrate 10 years of creating meaningful change, they’re setting their sights even higher. In 2025, Humble Hustle is embarking on A Hustler’s Marathon—a bold campaign to raise $250,000. This critical funding will expand programs by 15%, engage over 700 youth, and sustain the resources needed to create new opportunities for growth and empowerment.

I’m proud to join this mission as a Trailblazer Ally to help Humble Hustle achieve these ambitious goals. Together, we can ensure the next decade is even more impactful!

Your support directly contributes to:

  • Youth leadership programs: Offering mentorship, professional development, and scholarships.
  • Environmental education initiatives: Partnering with groups to connect youth with nature.
  • Revitalizing key programs: Expanding their annual youth empowerment conferences such as Ignite Your Purpose and Fuel Your Future.
  • Breaking barriers: Providing transportation, internships, and resources to empower participants beyond graduation.

With your help, we can fuel this marathon to success. Let’s take The Humble Hustle Company to new heights!
