The Wohelo (Work-Help-Love) Keepers, Teen Conservation Program is a 10-day immersive resident program teaching ecological concepts and environmental conservation practices. Under the guidance of trained staff, high school students will work and live together completing conservation projects including, camp improvement, planting native plants, and invasive species removal.
Through hands-on education, this program gives youth participants the opportunity to practice teamwork & cooperation, learn ecological concepts, and experience the joy of stewardship.
Camp Wyandot is seeking funding to meet the needs of this dynamic program, asking for 5,000 for the 2025 season. This funding will provide two senior staff members, camping gear, meals, project tools and equipment.
