I AM WOC HERstory

Dear Friends and Supporters,

Behind every military woman, there are stories that remain untold - stories of courage, service and sacrifice told from the perspective of women. 

Over time, official documents, military service records, and photos can be misplace or destroyed through relocations, deployments, or natural disasters. When that happens, it becomes difficult to verify military service, access earned benefits, programs or preserve the proud history and legacy of one’s service.  

At the International Association of Military Women of Color, we understand the importance preserving the military history, and telling Herstory.   Join us this Giving Tuesday to ensure that Military Women have the tools, resources and platform needed to communicate, develop and share their stories of service and commitment.  

Your donation will help fund writing workshops, publishing opportunities, verbal and written sessions, digital archives giving voice to women currently serving and women Veterans.  As of FY 2024, 2.1 million women veterans were estimated to make up our U.S. Military:  our Women Warriors.  

Together, we can make sure their stories are not just remembered, but documented in the national archive.  Your support is needed with capturing the stories of the remaining 90% of women veterans that are NOT registered in the National Women's History Museum.
