Birthday fundraiser!

For my birthday this year, I am hosting this fundraiser for the Robert S. Abbott Race Unity Institute,  a member-based organization dedicated to building unity and harmony between people of all races, religions, and identities via advocacy, programs, and community building.  The Abbott Institute is composed of multi-cultural members who come together to promote mutual understanding and build community-based programs that advocate for our mission. We are headquartered in Coastal Georgia, a region rich in cultural diversity and history. The organization is very close to my heart for many reasons.  It carries on the legacy of Robert S. Abbott, the founder of the Chicago Defender, by doing this essential work of building unity at the community level right here in the Golden Isles of Georgia, his birthplace.
