This family has one 9 year old boy with CHD (Congenital Heart Disease/Defect) – a defect in the heart’s structure. He is facing his next open hear surgery this coming summer. As he has gotten older he has started to wonder why is surgery scars aren’t healing and is starting to understand the severity of his medical situation. The financial impact of supporting their child through this disease, ADHA, and trauma from all the medical procedures is significant. The family is hoping that you can help distract their son from the new understanding he has of his condition and bring some holiday joy his way.
