Dear Family and Friends,
This year, I am excited to be joining Builders Beyond Borders (B3), a nonprofit organization that gives high school students the opportunity to make a difference through hands-on service. B3 students volunteer throughout the year in our local communities while developing leadership skills, working as a team, and preparing for an international service project.
As part of B3, I will be traveling to Ecuador in 2027 with a team of students and adult Advisors. While there, we will work alongside members of a local community on a needed, sustainable building project. The work is hands-on and can include digging, mixing cement, carrying building materials, and other physical work needed to help complete the project.
One of the things that makes B3 special is that the experience is about much more than the trip itself. Before traveling, I will participate in local community service, fundraising, team activities, and preparation for our work in Ecuador. B3 also gives students the opportunity to experience another culture, build relationships with the people we work alongside, and see firsthand what can happen when people work together toward a common goal.
I am really looking forward to challenging myself, meeting new people, and being part of work that can have a lasting impact. I would be very thankful if you could support my involvement in B3. Your donation will help fund the building materials and supplies needed for our project in Ecuador.
You can donate to my personal online fundraising page by using this link: (https://mtyc.co/njb4ze).
All donations are tax-deductible and will help me and B3 Build a Better World.
B3 is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Tax ID number: 01-0566395.
If you would like to learn more about B3, please visit the B3 website: www.buildersbeyondborders.org.
Thank you so much for supporting me and helping make this experience possible. I look forward to sharing more about the project and my experience with you when I return!
Gratefully,
Hudson Curry
