Giving Tuesday Description for Uplift Outreach Center
This Giving Tuesday, Uplift Outreach Center is raising support to continue providing safe, affirming, and life-changing spaces for LGBTQ+ youth across the Upstate. Uplift offers free weekly programming, mental-health support, leadership development, creative arts opportunities, and a welcoming community for young people ages 10–25.
Your support helps us:
Keep our doors open and all programs free
Provide youth with affirming mentors, resources, and crisis support
Expand Queer Me In for young adults 18–25
Offer consistent mental-health and wellness programming
Strengthen community partnerships and serve more rural youth
Create spaces where LGBTQ+ young people feel seen, supported, and safe
Uplift is often the only affirming environment many local youth have access to — a place where they can show up exactly as they are, build connections, and access the care they deserve.
