Annual Educator Travel Scholarship

The Learning Accelerator works to connect teachers and leaders with the knowledge, tools, and networks they need to enact personalized and mastery-based practices to transform K-12 education. Our ultimate aim is to help teachers erase existing gaps in achievement and provide students the opportunity to succeed.

Your donation to our Annual Educator Travel Scholarship will help mobilize teachers around the United States to meet and connect with other education leaders, providing dedicated professionals with the opportunity to share what works best in their classrooms and to learn from each other. 

Michael Fauteux, Director of Innovation at Leadership Public Schools, took part in TLA's inaugural Innovation Directors Network convening – one of our newest projects that aims to build bridges between ed leaders – and shared, “The IDN builds powerful relationships among a diverse set of educators from across the country to study and innovate new approaches to successfully nurture personalized learning for all learning communities. It provides the structure and expertise to help leaders who often work in isolation to collaborate in virtual teams to deepen their own practice and support the growth of colleagues and the school systems they work in.”

Educators that attend our periodic networking and learning events are given the unique opportunity to gather information, ideas, and inspiration from their peers in the field – an experience that is too rare for most educators, but highly valuable.
