Help Boone Area Humane Society Save More Cats Like Celestia!

As her owner moved out of their apartment, the last thing they did was open the car door and throw Celestia, a young female cat, outside to fend for herself. Thankfully, the landlord witnessed this heartbreaking moment, scooped Celestia up, and brought her straight to Boone Area Humane Society.

Because of compassionate supporters like you, we were able to get Celestia spayed, vaccinated, and safe. And now — the best part — Celestia has been adopted into a loving forever home! 💛

Sadly, this year we are seeing many more cats and dogs like Celestia — animals who are being dumped, abandoned, or left behind when their owners move. Each one is scared, homeless, and with nowhere else to turn.

So far this year, we’ve taken in 115 dogs and 353 cats — each one relying on us for safety, care, and hope. The need has never been greater.
