Bandit is a sweet 2 year old terrier mix who once roamed the lonely back roads of southern Virginia, scavenging for scraps and dodging danger at every turn. Now locked behind cold metal bars in a rural shelter that echoes with fear and confusion, he curls up tightly each night, unsure if he’ll ever feel safe or loved again. The shelter is overcrowded and under-resourced and each day that passes without help inches Bandit closer to a tragic end.
