Our organization has grown rapidly over the past couple of years, and we are now supporting over 540 hospitals in all 50 states! Since our founding in 2015, our operations headquarters has humbly been based in our President's home. We've relied on churches, volunteers' homes, and a variety of other organizations and spaces for our daily operations, volunteer work nights/orientations, storage, and special events. As our organization has continued to expand its impact and reach, we've experienced many growing pains and have come to outgrow our current operations and storage spaces. A new "home" for Bridget's Cradles has quietly been prayed over by our administrative team and Board of Directors for the past two years!
And in His timing, God has answered our prayers! He has found us a perfect place to continue serving bereaved families and to grow and expand our organization into the future! We know this place will be a launching pad for new ministry opportunities and we can't wait to follow His lead!
We hope and pray our new headquarters will be a creative and inspirational space for our volunteers here in the Wichita area and a special place of hope, healing, and encouragement for local bereaved families. Our new headquarters will allow us to host volunteer gatherings, work nights, support events for bereaved families, and other special meetings. It will also serve as a storage facility for all of our supplies and in-process cradles and prayer squares.
During the month of June, we will be holding a special donation drive to raise funds to support our new operating costs over the next year and to recoup the start-up costs of purchasing furniture and equipment needed for the new space. Examples of these costs include: storage racks for storing in-process cradles, volunteer supplies, tables and chairs, and office supplies we will use on a regular basis.
Our goal is to raise a minimum of $7,500 for Bridget's Cradles headquarters. We know this goal is lofty, but we believe we can reach it together.
